General Admission Requirements

Foreign Candidates (MSc)

(1) To have a bachelor's degree (The applications of candidates who are graduated or who are at the graduation level of foreign higher education institutions recognized by the Council of Higher Education will be accepted, the entrance point system will not be applied),

(2) To have had one of the following ALES, GRE or GMAT scores in the last five years since the application day (the validity period of the scores obtained from the relevant examinations in the previous years has been extended from three to five years),

(a) Equally-weighted/ numerical ALES score type will be used in the postgraduate applications of the ''Defence Management'' provided that the minimum entrance score is the same.

(b) The %60 of the ALES, GRE or GMAT exam result will be evaluated for the foreign students applying in the postgraduate programs as there is no foreign language requirement.

(3) To have the knowledge of Turkish to be able to follow the learning (at least 60 points), (A certificate which is questionable and have the verifaciton code from TOMER will be presented- this requirement is not necessary for the TRNC students and have the Turkish undergraduate education) .

Foreign Candidates (PhD):

(1) To have master degree with thesis (The applications of candidates who are graduated or who are at the graduation level of foreign higher education institutions recognized by the Council of Higher Education will be accepted, the entrance point system will not be applied),

(2) To have had one of the following ALES, GRE or GMAT scores in the last five years since the application day (the validity period of the scores obtained from the relevant examinations in the previous years has been extended from three to five years).

(3) A certificate which is questionable and have the verifaciton code from TOMER will be presented- this requirement is not necessary for the TRNC students and have the Turkish undergraduate education.

(4) To receive one of the following foreign language exam score on English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese or Persian language in addition to their native language provided that it is taken from the date of application in the last five years (except for the foreign language exams specified on the exam results certificate). An equivalent foreign language score obtained from an exam accepted by the Interuniversity Board will also be accepted.
