Department of Operations Research

Aim:

Operations Research is a branch of science that involves the application of advanced analytical methods in a wide range of problem areas to achieve better decisions. The main purpose of Operations Research which analyzes complex systems with mathematical modelling method is to enable the cadets, who are the commanders of the future with perspective and knowledge, to make more effective decisions in the field of war, to establish more efficient and productive systems and to develop the troops under their commands.

Within this scope, it is aimed to teach cadets the Operations Research, Operations Analysis, System Simulation, Combat Modelling, Statistics, Probability, Network Analysis, Land Analysis and Heuristic algorithms and they are expected to use this training in military field applications.
