International Relations Office

International Relations Office is the headquarter branch responsible for all the activities conducted by international cadets of TMA, and the activities TMA participitates abroad and international activities conducted in TMA.

The International Relations Office organize a number of international activities both in TMA and abroad.

The most comprehensive of these activities organized in Turkey is International Cadets’ Military Training, Shooting and Exercise Week. It was first organized in 2008. This organization aims to promote the strong relations between friend and allied countries’ military academies. Participitant country sends 1 officer and 3 cadets for 7-10 days. In 2015 89 international military personnel from 22 different countries participated the International Cadets’ Military Shooting and Exercise Week.

Turkish Military Academy cadets represent the Academy at a variety of international competitions and grounds.

Turkish Military Academy participates in various international academic and sports competitions. Between 13th-17th November 2013, TMA had an encouragement award and third prize at article presentation competition which was held by Republic of Korea Military Academy. On March 23rd through 27th, 2015, the TMA was awarded as the second (in the mixed team category) and the third (in the individual category) on the13th Competition on the Law of Armed Conflict held in San Remo of Italy.
