The Dirk

Prior to first academic year of education, cadet candidates are given an orientation training (Basic training) in the field training exercise course in Menteş, İzmir. The candidates who accomplish the training take the “Military and Cadet Honor” oath and become cadets.

Dirk is the symbol of the Military Academy and presented to the cadets in the oath ceremony in FTEC (Military Summer Camp) just after winning the title of “Cadet”.
