To understand general thermo-dynamic laws on engineering systems and to introduce the energy systems used on combat support and service support vehicles.

To help students gain an ability of analysis and application in the fields of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and energy.

To help students gain an ability to express the energy and thermal system problems mathematically faced in practical situations and to gain skills to think systematically and analytically and to attain skills for cause and effect relations.
