National Defence University Turkish Military Academy Dean’s Head of Civil Engineering Department’s main purpose, for the commissioned officers who are going to graduate from the Department of Civil Engineering, is to help gain practical and effective ability to produce solutions on the problems belonging to Civil Engineering science and technology, to possess the basic knowledge belonging to the department of structure, hydraulics, transportation and geotechnics in Civil Engineering and to use the basic engineering knowledge in order to solve the problems of civil engineering that they face throughout their professions.
