Aim of Mechanical Department

Mechanical Engineering Degree offers bachelor education in the fields of Mechanic, Energy and Manufacturing and Construction.

The main task of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Department of the National Defense University Military Academy Deanery is to provide the necessary theoretical training with scientific competencies and general culture to officers, who will be able to apply the tactical technical and administrative activities of the Turkish Land Forces. and to gain the notion of mechanical engineering within the framework of practical information.

Our aim is to train students who have self confidence and improved command skills through defined task in addition to these skills: Graduate officers;

• Respond to technological devolopments,
• Have basic engineering knowledge,
• Understand the manufacturing methods and working principles of systems,
• Make not only analysis but also synthesis,
• Have research skills,
• Are compatible with teamwork.

Students have extensive practical experience in mechanical engineering throughout their studies. After they complete the basic branch courses within the schedule, the students take optional courses in the last two semesters and complete an engineering project.
